The wait

They told her she should wait,

Indeed sometimes good things do come in packages a little too late…

Was it a twist of destiny or fate?

He had loved her when she was at her career’s peak,

For her he had crossed bridges and and remained subdued and meek…

She was totally into her books and such a geek,

Yet one look from her made the rockstar in him go weak…

The walk stopped that evening,

but time seemed to stand still,

Life with her would be a blissful reality,

After all she was far from stupidity!!

The more she mailed him,

the more he decided to wait,

It was his patience,

That won her over and his quiet unspoken confidence,

He took a chance

Finally it seemed like forever…

The wait,

She had bitten into’s time’s unseen bait..

Yet he had never reduced his gait,

After all they were players in the clock of time intertwined with fate!!!!
