Childhood Friends

She slipped into her black heels,
Her white and black dress accentuated her curves,
Yet she knew while applying her blush,
While her heart felt like it was about to rush,
He would not even batt an eyelid ,

He changed like the colours of fall,
He twisted his contorted face and beneath the handsome arrogance,
She unveiled his lonely ignorance..
He was a rich business tycoon,
To her the same spoilt childhood friend who she shared with, not just ‘her heart’ but even a meal,the same plate & a “spoon”…
